Amongst other prizes, he is the winner of Gold Medals at The Northern Meeting and the Argyllshire Gathering, three Clasps to the Gold Medal at The Northern Meeting, and three consecutive Silver Chanters at Dunvegan Castle. He has also won the Bratach Gorm (London) twice and has a record equaling four Braemar Gold Medals.
